Pearl Roberts

Pearl Roberts, 86, of Lake Charles, passed away on Monday March 15, 2021 after a brief illness at Harbor Hospice.

Pearl graduated from Jennings High School and was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She enjoyed reading, cooking, cake decorating, handwork (paw work) and most of all spending time with her family, friends, and being “Rammy” to her grandchildren. Those who knew her appreciated her kind heart, wit, and humor. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Throughout her life, she was committed to various local charities and organizations.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Helen (Young) Goodwin. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, John Allen Roberts; her four daughters, Donna Roberts of Lafayette, LA; Julie Vandenberg, Laura Roberts, and Sheri Gonzalez (Rob) all from Austin, TX; 2 grandchildren Jared Roberts and Chanse Pierce also of Austin, TX.

No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
