Pearlie F. Stark

Pearlie F. Stark, 87, of Lake Charles, LA died surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 26, 2016 in a local care facility.

Pearlie was born on May 31, 1929 in Simpson, LA to Albert and Lydia Johnson. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, and being around her family. Pearlie attended Moss Bluff First Baptist Church. She was known most of all for helping others. She was a loving wife, mom, and mawmaw.

Those left to cherish her memory include four children, James B. Stark Jr. and wife Tanya of Jonesboro, AR, Kevin Stark of Moss Bluff, LA, Jason Stark and wife Jennifer of Collierville, TN, and Beth Pierce and husband James of Ragley , LA; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one brother, Willard Johnson and wife Bonnie of Carlyss, LA.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband James B. Stark Sr. and grandson, James Bryan Stark.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until service time Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, LA. Bro. James Rivers will officiate services.
