Peggy Grady

Peggy Jane Driver Godley Grady, 85, of Lake Charles, LA passed away peacefully with family present on August 26, 2017.

She was born in Osceola, AR to William Joshua Driver, Jr. and Peggy Fox Driver. Peggy Jane attended Gulf Park College for Women in Gulfport, MS. Later she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Mississippi as well as a member of the PEO sisterhood.

Her passions included: music, dancing, singing, and most importantly FOOTBALL (especially SEC!!!)

Those left to cherish her memory include: Her children, William “Bill” Lloyd and Pam Godley of Lake Charles, LA, John Lee and Renee Godley McCarty of Marion, AR, and Ellen and Gary Bright of Huffman, TX; her grandchildren, Steven Edwards, Scott Edwards, Melissa Mantz, Emily Williams, Elizabeth Godley, Josh Godley, Stephen LeJeune, and Aimee Broussard, great grandchildren, Eryn-lin, Cooper, Chase, Cullen, Dylan, Emma and Conner; and her extra special friend and roommate, Marianne Allee.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Milton Lloyd Godley and her second husband, Robert Earl Grady.

Private services were held under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.
