Peggy Guthrie Hebert

Peggy Guthrie Hebert, 79, of Sulphur passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Holly Hill surrounded by her family. Peggy was a loving Mom and Memaw with a beautiful heart. She loved children and worked at First Baptist Church of Maplewood day care for many years. Peggy and her husband loved to watch sports played by their two sons and their grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her two sons, Keith (Jamie) Guthrie and Bobby (Julie) Guthrie; grandchildren, Chad (Celia) Guthrie, Brandy (Russell) Hall, Kristy (Ryan) Martin, Brooke Guthrie, Nicki (Chris) Moreaux and Heath (Delaina) Guthrie; numerous great grandchildren; and one sister, Ann Sims. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard "Cat" Guthrie, sisters and brothers. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Reverend Russell Beard of Antioch Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 3 pm until the time of the memorial service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
