Peggy Higgins

Peggy Higgins, 90, of Lake Charles, LA died in a local hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2016.

Peggy was born on January 10, 1926 in Alco, LA to Neely and Augustine Bennett. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She loved going to church, praying, and helping others.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Jane Ethridge Wilkinson and husband Ancil; two grandchildren, Angie Wilburn and husband David, Josh Wilkinson and wife Alexis; four great grandchildren, Wesley and Camille Switzer, James and Jack Wilkinson, all of Baton Rouge, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, L.W. Ethridge Jr. and Jack Higgins.

Per her request she will have a private graveside service for immediate family.
