Peggy Horner Farquhar

Peggy Horner Farquhar was born July 21, 1948 in Fordoche.  She was of the Christian faith and went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2022 surrounded by family.  Peggy cherished time with her family and enjoyed making memories camping with her sons and grandchildren.   

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Scylton Monroe Farquhar, sons Kirt (Angie) Farquhar and Scott (Paula) Farquhar, grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Simon and Eve Farquhar, Taylor Tullos, Joe Tullos, Kaitlyn (Carrington) Chamberlain and great-grandchildren Catherine Farquhar and Roman Chamberlain.  She is also survived by her sisters Connie (Owens) Conrad, Kandy (Kenneth) Richard, Peggy “Tootie” (Joe) Young; brother, Jimmy (Brenda) Horner and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Ramie “Buddy” Horner and Vera Vivian Horner, her brother Ray Horner, and sister Nancy Evans.  

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 1:00pm on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday with the Reverend Scott Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Dry Creek.
