Peggy Joyce Lounsberry

Peggy Joyce Lounsberry, 92, passed away on October 14, 2017 in her residence. She was married for 61 years to the late Rev. John E. Lounsberry, Sr. Peggy took great pride in being a homemaker with her priority being her family and home. She always graciously supported her husband as a Minister’s wife.
Peggy is survived by her two children, John E. Lounsberry, Jr. and wife Joan of Sugartown, LA and Patricia Reynolds and husband Jim of Sulphur; 6 grandchildren, Mike Lounsberry and wife Pam, Susan Marcantel, and husband Ken, Jimmy Reynolds, Christine Fisher and husband Gerald, Hart Rivera and husband Andy, and John Howard Reynolds; 13 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Winfred, Hillard, and Austin Morris; and 4 sisters, Emmie Hanberry, Pat Jordan, Bertha Perrigo, and Cecil Gary.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 with the public invited at 2 P.M. at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.Guestbook
