Peggy Joyce Moore

Peggy Joyce Moore, 79, passed away on July 10, 2022 peacefully in her home. She was born to the late Van and Madge Cormier in Indian Bayou, LA on September 25, 1942. She was immersed with her family life and enjoyed spending time at Holly Beach and enjoying the Cameron wildlife. Peggy was blessed with a large and loving family. She was happily married to her best friend, Mitch for many years. Peggy raised her six children with love and affection often bringing them outside to enjoy nature and listen to the birds sing.

Peggy was a natural homemaker with a kind spirit. Her laugh, smile and outgoing spirit was contagious to everyone around regardless of what she was going through. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her five children, Tami and husband Rickey Borrel, Dirk Sarver, Brandi Cormier, Troy Lambert and Clint Lambert. Along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitch Moore; son, Darren Sarver; brother, Bobby Cormier; and both parents, Van and Madge Cormier.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 12 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. before the service.
