Peggy Lynn Wright

Peggy Lynn Wright, 63, of Maplewood, died peacefully on Monday February 18, 2019 at a Lake Charles Hospice surrounded by her family.

Peggy was a native and life long resident of the Lake Charles area. She was a mortgage lender and retired from CSE Credit Union. She was member of Krewe of Cosmos, Pelican Coast Parrot Club and Compassionate Friends. Peggy was also an active member of First Baptist Church of Maplewood.

Preceding Peggy in death are her parents, Thomas Lee and Hula Mae Fisette Greenlee and a son, Brian Rodrigue. She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her husband of 31 years, Ralph Wright; sons, Patrick Rodrigue and wife Dana, Lake Charles; Matthew Rodrigue and wife Heather, Sulphur and Jason Wright, Sulphur; sisters, Dell Tramonte, Gayle Stephens, Christine Guidry, Janet Hooper and Patricia Guillory; brothers, Tommy Greenlee and Todd Greenlee; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM with Dr. Jeremy Blocker officiating. A private family interment will be at Consolata Cemetery at a later time.

The family requests memorials be made in Peggy’s name to First Baptist Church of Maplewood, 4501 Maplewood Dr Sulphur, LA 70663.
