Penny Callens

Penny O. Callens, 73, of Sulphur, LA passed away on Saturday June 12, 2021.

Penny was born on December 17, 1947, in Louisiana to Owen and Gloria McCollough. She enjoyed card games and being around family and friends. She was a teacher for 25 plus years and was a member of Houston River Baptist Church. Penny loved all of her animals and enjoyed her grandchildren dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Teri Callens Goleman and Toni Callens Lafleur; five grandchildren, Emily Scuderi and Nicholas, Josh Goleman, Amber Carruth and Gavin, Cameron Lafleur and Taylor, and Kole Goleman; 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, June 18, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Florien, LA. Pastor Lonnie Gothrup will officiate services.
