Percy Biagas, 83, was born July 7, 1929 in Lawtell, Louisiana to Ora Jean and Albert Biagas Sr. He entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in a local hospital.


A resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana he was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Knights of Peter Claver, Knights of Columbus and choir member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Percy was a lifetime member of Brick Masonry Local 6 and chartered Roy Campanella Little League Baseball.


He is survived by his wife, Clare Rochon Biagas of Lake Charles, La.; his children, Percy Charles Biagas, Margo Biagas of Lake Charles, La., Marvin Biagas of Houston, Tx., Yvonne Biagas (Dr. Leo III) Hall of Naperville, Il, Anthony Biagas of Baton Rouge, La., Patrick, Michael, and Andrew Biagas of Houston, Tx., Angela Biagas-Muhammad (Denon) of Spring, Tx. and Andrea Biagas (Aubrey) Thomas of Tulsa, Ok .; siblings, Theresa Biagas Williams of Washington, D.C., Robert Biagas of Maryland and Maydell Granger of Lake Charles, La.; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul Biagas Sr., Alvin Biagas Sr., Hyland Biagas Sr. and Albert Biagas Jr. and one sister, Katie Biagas Granger.


Funeral Services will be at 11AM Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Monsignor Daniel Torres and Father Tim Goodly will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 8AM-10:30AM at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 9:30AM
