Percy Kimball, 94, of Lake Charles, LA died at 6:30 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in a local care facility. Percy was born March 3, 1920 in Grand Prairie, LA to Marshall and Lenora Kimball. Mr. Percy was a man that loved the outdoors gardening, playing Bingo, and Listening to French music. He also enjoyed crabbing with his family and reading. Mr. Percy served our country in the Navy for four years. He was a Knights of Columbus member and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his three daughters, Dorothy Deaton and husband William of Lake Charles, Gloria Morris and husband William of Lake Charles, and Judy LaRoacca and husband Michael of Lake Charles; three sisters, Loretta Stelly, Lenora Robin, and Neva Marks; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Mr. Percy is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Ourena Kimball; one brother, Nolan Kimball; three sisters, Elsie Souileau, Mabel LaGrange and Anna Mae Guillory. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM Saturday morning until time of service at 11:30 AM. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park. Deacon George Carr will officiate services.
