Perfecto Gallegos

Funeral services for Mr. Perfecto Gallegos, 84, of Hackberry, will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10am in St. Peter Catholic Church, Hackberry. Father Rommel Tolentino will officiate. Burial will follow in New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 22, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel from 5pm " 9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm and resume Saturday, October 23rd from 9am " until time of service in St. Peter Catholic Church in Hackberry. Mr. Gallegos passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in a Sulphur hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Gallegos loved the outdoors. He spent many days shrimping, fishing and working on his tractor around his place. He retired as a crane operator working most of his life in Oil Production. He will be truly missed by all that knew & loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Hazel Gallegos, of Hackberry; 2 Sons: Ricky Gallegos & wife Cherrie, of Moss Bluff; Gabe Gallegos & wife Beverly, of Suffolk, Virginia; 3 Daughters: Gloria Ellender & husband Freddie, of Sulphur; Juanita Nunez & husband Carroll, of Hackberry; Marguerita Gallegos, of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded by his parents: Miguel & Nicolasa Gallegos; Brother: Manuel Gallegos; 4 Sisters; Son: Perfecto Gallegos, Jr.; Granddaughter: Latisha Tingler.
