Peter M. Still

Peter M. Still, 67, of Iowa, LA, passed away after a brief illness at 2:35 AM on Sunday, August 28, 2022 in a Lafayette, LA hospital.

Peter was born December 24, 1954 in Arlington, TX.  He attended Jennings High School and McNeese State University.  Throughout the years, he worked as a radio disc jockey, ran the telescope for McNeese and was the lighting technician for their Theatre Department.  He also enjoyed pottery, reading, cooking and playing the guitar and keyboard.

Peter is survived by his wife of forty years, Mary Jo Goode Still of Iowa, LA; sister, Lisa Grace Still Beadle (Dwight) of Cypress, TX; brothers-in-law, John Goode, Edward Goode (Donna), and Michael Goode; sisters-in-law, Theresa Brooks (Michael), Dorothy Johnson (Steve), and Catherine Khan (Anwar); nieces and nephews, Alicia Sempe (Andrew), Benjamin Beadle, Hannah Beadle Brent Goode, Matthew Fruge (Brittney), James Brookes, Zeshawn Khan, JoNell Goode, Nicole Goode, and Nadia Khan; great-nieces and nephew, Amber Grace and April Leigh Sempe, Jason Goode, and Emma Fruge; and cousins, Charlton Shaw, Penny Johnson, Shane Still and Ronnie Still.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benson and Truehart Still.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
