Phillip Lester Lucas

Philip Lester Lucas, 66, of Sulphur, LA died September 20, 2014. He was born on August 18, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio to Forest and Ruth Lucas. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and being around family and friends. He moved to the Lake area in 1980. He was a truck driver for Saia Motor Freight for 25 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Vidrine Lucas, of Sulphur, LA; mother, Ruth Lang Lucas; three daughters, Christina Jones and husband Jason, Patricia Lynn Lucas, and April Morasco and husband Josh; two step children, Heather Smith and husband KJ and Michael Bitar ; eight grandchildren, Kaitlin , Miriam, and Matthew Morasco, Abby, Laikyn, Linsey, and Alex Smith; two brothers, Forest and wife Sheryl Lucas, Paul Lucas and wife Jean; and one sister, Sharon Drennan. He is preceded in death by his father. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Federal Bank account number 50773427 for Philip Lucas. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Enterprise Boulevard Church of Christ.
