"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me." Philippians 4:13 Phyllis Jeanine Jeannice, 57, of Iowa died at 3:45 AM on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in her residence. Mrs. Jeannice was born on May 24, 1957 in Amarillo, TX and lived in Iowa since 1985. She graduated high school in Chicago, IL and attended Business College. Mrs. Jeannice owned and operated Phil Rich Potpourri located in the VF Factory Outlet. She was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed making crafts and flower arrangements. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Joseph C. Jeannice; two sons, Christopher Paul Jeannice and wife Tammy and Jeremiah Lee Jeannice and wife Jessica both of Iowa; three sisters, Richie Grounds of Iowa, Penney Bertrand of Iowa, and Paula Fruge of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Noelle, Noah, Aubree, and Kyra Jeannice; her beloved dog, Douglas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Walter Chatagnier. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alan Weishampel will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
