Pierre Lavergne

Pierre Lavergne, 89, of Lake Charles, Louisiana died at 2:05 PM December 6, 2013. Pierre was born March 27, 1924 in Church Point, Louisiana to Joseph and Louise Lavergne. Mr. Pierre served four years in the Air force in World War II as an Aircraft Mechanic. He retired from air conduit after thirty plus years of service. Mr. Pierre enjoyed Shrimping on his shrimp boat the "Ms. Rosa". Survivors include two sons, Joseph "Glen" Lavergne and wife Charlotte of Lake Charles and Ronnie Lavergne; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Jane Lavergne; grandson, Bryan Brockes; and daughter, Rosa Brockes. Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2013 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. There will be a procession at 1:00 PM from Johnson Funeral Home to Consolata Cemetery for a graveside service. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregiver Jimmy Thomas Jr.
