Preston Comeaux

Preston Comeaux, 74, of Sulphur, passed from this life at his home, Friday, June 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church Knights of Columbus. Preston retired from Conoco after 20+ years of service to the company. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, fishing, watching boxing, and was a boxer himself. When Preston wasn’t working a bingo function, he enjoyed playing bingo and loved dancing.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Cynthia Ann Broussard Comeaux; children, Carol Stark (Jud), Charlene Hinch (Lynn), Darlene Langford (Joel), Melissa Oliva (Donnie), Monique Comeaux, Delane Watkins, Christopher Comeaux (Hema); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Darla Bryson, Irma Primeaux, Carol Savoy (Sherman), Bernetta Pelsia (Kenny), Milton Comeaux (Rachel), Larry Comeaux (Ginger); sister-in-law Sybil Comeaux.

Preston is preceded in death by his parents, Eudy and Lena Comeaux; son, Preston Shane Comeaux, and numerous brothers and sisters.

A Christian Mass will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 2 PM, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South. A visitation will be held for family and friends at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with a recitation of the rosary at 12 PM.
