Rachel Mae Cradeur

Rachel Mae Vincent Cradeur, 81, passed away on February 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Rachel was born on July 27, 1942, in Sulphur, La., to Babe and Catherine Vincent.

Rachel married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Cradeur on February 8, 1964. She was a loving dedicated wife and mom. She proudly served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary for five years. She enjoyed riding the lawn mower whether she was cutting grass or riding around visiting the neighborhood. She had many hobbies which included fishing, crocheting and crafting. Her most memorable travels was her trip to Europe with her husband Bob. She enjoyed dancing and entertaining. She was a spunky, caring, fun loving person that enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa Cradeur Guidry (Randy), Daniel Russack-Cradeur (Bari), Monica (BeBe) Cradeur Buchanan Captain Randell (Randy) T. Buchanan, US Navy; grandchildren, Senior Chief Petty Officer Robert (Robby) T. Guidry, US Coast Guard (Jill), Samantha (Samie) Guidry, Jazelle Russack-Cradeur, Myiah Russack-Cradeur, Quinton Russack-Cradeur, Jaxie Mae Russack-Cradeur, Nathan Buchanan, Benjamin Buchanan, Sarah Buchanan and Hugo Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Ryan Clair, Caroline, Camille and Lucas; siblings, Harold Vincent, Gail O’Quinn and Shane Vincent; sister-in-law, Nadine Cradeur Lancon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Cradeur; parents, Babe and Catherine Vincent; in-laws, Houston and Theresa Cradeur; siblings, Donald Vincent, Odis Vincent, Janette Watson and Daphne Simmons.

Funeral services for Rachel will be at 1 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at St. Theresa Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 9 PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, La. Visitation will resume at 10 AM, at the funeral home on Thursday, until the time of service. The burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.

Pallbearers will be Robby Guidry, Randy Guidry, Nathan Buchanan, Ben Buchanan, Donald Paul Vincent and Shane Vincent. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Gremillion, Grey Gremillion, Billy DeVault.
