Ralph "Mickey" Solice

Ralph “Mickey” Solice, 56, of Moss Bluff, passed away at his home on Wednesday July 3, 2024.

He was born on April 17, 1968 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Huey “Pete” and Debbie Solice. Mickey enjoyed watching his children play baseball, spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, and cooking. He was a patriot who served his country honorably in the United States Army National Guard. He was a big LSU baseball, New Orleans Saints, and Houston Astros fan. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sandy Lofton Solice; children, Justin Solice (Stephanie), Kaitlyn Parker (Erik), and Caleb Solice; grandchildren, Kaylee Powell and Jude Parker; siblings, Wendy Bergeron, Christy Solice, Jackie Solice, and Mack Solice; and beloved pet, Leah Kay Solice.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Don Solice, Ronnie Solice, and Russell Solice.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday July 7, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and will continue at 9:00 AM Monday, July 8, 2024 until 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Alan Weishampel, will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday followed by burial at the New Ritchie Cemetery.
