January 8, 1957 — March 19, 2023

Randall James “Randy” Hebert, 66, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 19, 2023, the Feast of St. Joseph.

Randy was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3015, serving as a 4th Degree Knight,  a Grand Knight and as a District Deputy.  Randy had many hobbies including photography, playing the guitar, flying model aircraft, auto mechanics, and drag racing. He was an avid cook and was a founding member of Le Chien Dutch Oven Cookers; he was instrumental in the formation of the LA Dutch Oven Society.

Randy was known for voicing his concerns in government, and before presenting, his concerns were well researched from both sides of the issue. As a community activist he was representing the checks and balances that we are fortunate to have in our government.  Randy knew no stranger and was always willing to help others in need. He will be remembered as a compassionate man with strong convictions who fought to improve the community for all. First and foremost, his strong faith, love of country, and his devotion to family will always be his legacy.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Suzanne Robichaux Hebert; four children, James Hebert (Malerie Moore) of Rhome, TX, Jessica Davis (Cory) of Sulphur, Jennifer Hebert of Sulphur, Jane Ramey (William) of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Meredith Hebert, Robert Swire, Brenna Taylor, Annabelle Davis, Connor Davis, Jeremiah Ramey, and Gabriel Ramey; brother, Paul Hebert (Oksana); sisters, Mary Beth Hebert and Teresa Hebert; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
