Randall Karl "Randy" Stewart

Randall Karl “Randy” Stewart, 59, of Lake Charles, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Mr. Stewart was born July 13, 1957 in Lake Charles, attended Iowa High School and worked most of his life as a Carpenter in the Construction Industry. He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed, cooking, making Christmas candy, playing pool, Putt-Putt and golfing. He also loved the beach. Mr. Stewart’s greatest passion and talent was music, as he followed his Dad’s footsteps to play guitar and sing and passed his passion onto his son and nephew. He will be most remembered for his love of life and living it, his happy spirit and his love and devotion to his wife.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 27 years, Jeannette Francis Stewart, of Lake Charles; son, Robert James Stewart and wife Erin of Lake Charles; daughter, Nicole Hooper of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Reagan Andrew Stewart and Patience Thomas; stepdaughter, Jessica Elizondo Kashwer and husband Jarret of Brenham, TX; stepson, Tyler James Gregg of Conroe, TX; step-grandchildren, Quinn Sandel, Chandler and Mariah Kelley and Brooklyn Gregg; one step-great grandchild, Cameron Kade Kelley; one brother, Andrew Stewart and wife Mary of Lake Charles and one sister, Beverly Gilchrist of Lake Charles; many friends and his band family Déjà vu and Mr. Meaner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Levise Stewart; sister, Charlotte Long; and infant brother, Robert Lee Stewart.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Manuel officiating. Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
