Randall James (Tre Byrd) Chesson, III, 23, of Los Angeles, CA, died on Monday, August 5, 2013, in Los Angeles, CA. Tre was born on September 21, 1989, in Sulphur, LA, where he was raised and graduated from Alfred M. Barbe High School, in 2008. He was a performance artist, dancer, philanthropist, health-food enthusiast, entrepreneur, beegan, business co-owner, designer, choreographer, seamstress, model, actor, musician, curator, appropriation artist, author, poet, loving friend, environmental activist, etc., and he danced at various studios in town and nationally. At the age of 5, he performed Oklahoma at the Cal-Cam Fair in Sulphur, Louisiana, and he also performed in the Lake Charles Civic Ballets The Nutcracker , where he starred as THE NUTCRACKER. He held the titles of Teen, Jr. and Mr. Dance of Texas. He attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where he also hosted his own performing events and performed with Ann-Liv Young Dance Company. He has lived in Los Angeles, CA, for the past 18 months. He had a magnetic personality and an uncommon vocabulary. He touched the hearts of every person he came into contact with and he is already missed dearly by everyone. Tre is survived by his mother, Kelli Ann Jessup Bertrand, his father, Randall (Randy) Chesson, Jr., loving companion Alex Paul Anthony Wood, his grandparents Fran (mawmaw) Richard and Robert Dale (pawpaw) Richard, Rev. Randall James Chesson, Sr. and Lona Sue Chesson, great grandmother, Ina (mawmaw Ina) Boudreaux, siblings, Kaitlyn Blair Bertrand, Kesli Scot Shelton, and Halie Brook Chesson, his special cousin/ sister , Alyssa Grace Bohall, his beloved kittens, Bob Newhart and Larry David, his secondary mother and aunt, Tanya (Nana) Richard, along with numerous family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Rhonda Chesson Gray, uncle Lenny Chesson, grandfather, Donald Jessup and cousins Darren Gray and April Chesson. Visitation will be at Johnson-Robison Funeral Home, in Sulphur, Louisiana, commencing Wednesday, August 14, from 11:00 am til 9:00 pm and Thursday from 8:00 am until the time of the services which will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm.
