Randy Floyd Jeffers

Randy Floyd Jeffers, 56, of Lake Charles made the decision to end his life on Thursday, October 19, 2017 after a courageous and long battle.

Although it saddens us that he is no longer with us physically, we know that he has found the peace that he was searching for. Randy will always be remembered as a one of a kind person, friend, and father. His unique outlook on life made him naturally protective and loving to the people that mattered to him, especially his children. His fighting spirit will never die.

Those left to cherish his memory are three children, Victoria Talbot of Austin, TX, Hunter Jeffers of Moss Bluff, and Lakyn Jeffers of Sulphur; his mother, Betty Touchet (Don) of Jennings; four siblings, Donna Eads (Red) of Katy, TX, Ricky Hebert of Crowley, Carla Sutton (David) of Houston, and Glenn Jeffers of Texas; step brother, Traden Touchet of Jennings; and seven grandchildren, Emma Jeffers, Treyton Jeffers, Sadonna Cornwell, Raven Stanton, Zoi-Jane Files, Malachi Files, and Oliver Lasha.

He was preceded in death by his son, Josh Jeffers; his father, Andrew Jeffers; step father, Duke Hebert; step mother, Sue Jeffers; and a granddaughter, Kasey Cornwell.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Tony Borque will officiate.
