Randy Paul Badon, 63, of Sulphur, LA, passed on Sept 14, 2021.

Randy was born on October 31, 1957, to Raymond and Betty Badon. Randy was born in Sulphur but lived in Johnson Bayou, LA, the majority of his life until 2008 when Hurricane Ike destroyed his home. Randy joined the Marine Corps out of High School.

Randy worked as a Lafayette Police Department officer in his early life and moved on to various jobs in the local plants working as a rigger and pipefitter during all the major turnarounds. Randy has been disabled the past 20 plus years due to ongoing health conditions. Randy was a lover of sports especially football and could tell you about the stats on any player in the league. He had a very sharp memory and knew everyone’s birthdays and could remember things most people have long forgotten. He also was a lover of cats and talked and treated them as his children. He will be missed.

 Randy is survived by his siblings, Raymond Badon Jr. and why Sheryl of Sulphur, LA, Hank Badon Sr. of Johnson Bayou, LA, Gary Badon Sr. and wife Connie of Johnson Bayou, LA, Becky Fancher and husband Bobby of Sulphur, LA, Lisa Dougay and husband James of Sulphur, LA, and also numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Shirley Badon and Betty Jane May, and wife, Crystal Lejeune.

 In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to a charity of your choice.

 Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, September 17, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South. Pastor Marcus Wade will officiate services
