Ray Allen Simon

Ray Allen Simon, 86, Sulphur, LA passed away on January 10, 2022. Ray was born on August 11, 1935, in Abbeville, LA to John and Yvonne Simon.

Ray proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Ray enjoyed crabbing and family time after his many years of services as a lifelong shoe salesman in the New Orleans area for the Shoe Town and the Ranch companies.

Those left to cherish his memory are two children, Danelle Simon and Ray Simon Jr.: two grandchildren, Aaron Ryan Simon and Destiny Simon; one brother, Larry Simon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parent’s; two brothers, Gerald Minos Simon and Howard Joseph Simon, Sr.; and one sister, Mary Simon Carter.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
