Ray "Cotton" Hebert

Ray “Cotton” Hebert, 81, of Lake Charles, LA died Saturday, August 6, 2016 in a local care facility.

Cotton was born on January 14, 1935 in Welsh, LA to Morris and Mattie Hebert. Cotton was well known for his talent and passion for his leather working skills. He loved making saddles, cow whips, and working with horses and cattle.

Those left to cherish his memory are two siblings, John Hebert and Rose Marie Hebert; four nieces, Cindy Hebert, Miranda Hebert, Rhonda Pennington, and Shari Roberts; four nephews, Keith Campbell, John Dale Hebert, Greg Hebert, Charles Wayne Hebert; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clinton Hebert; and one niece, Donna Hebert.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
