Walter Ray Gandy, 82 of Sulphur passed away on May 27, 2013 in his residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Ray was an electrical superintendent, he retired from Vector Electric and Control working as a sub-contractor for PPG. He was also an electrical inspector working in the North Sea, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi and Arabia. Ray was married to his wife, Jan for 32 years. He loved his work and traveling with Jan. Ray is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jan of Sulphur; sons, Larry Gandy of Lake Jackson, TX and Douglas Gandy and wife, Donna of Dayton, TX; daughters, Wendy Kruta of Oklahoma City, OK, Ann Perkins of Oklahoma City, OK , Patricia Inman and husband James of Baytown, TX and step-daughter, Autumn Carroll and husband, Bubba of Sulphur; brothers, Don Wayne Gandy and Charles Gandy both of Kountze, TX; sisters, Helen Wessels and husband, George of Altaire, TX and Hazel Matthews and husband, Ralph of South Houston, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Tim Gandy; grandson, Richard Harvey Kujac; 2 step-sons, Jeff Webb and Jon Eric Webb; parents, Emery and Hazel Gandy; sister, Dorothy Cooley and brothers, Ernie and David Gandy.
