Ray LeDoux

Ray E. LeDoux, 75, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born on October 4, 1949, in Lake Charles to Elven and Amy Castille LeDoux.

Ray was a joyful presence in the lives of all who knew him. He dedicated many years to coaching baseball, sharing his love for the sport and inspiring young athletes. A devoted McNeese State University sports fan, Ray could often be found cheering on his favorite teams. Above all, he cherished his family, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ray's family-oriented nature and love for those closest to him will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn David LeDoux; his sisters Linda Brown (Clint), Peggy Young (Scott), Patsy Picard (Russell), Deborah Newton (Jeff), and Mary LeDoux; his children Cory LeDoux (Amanda), Allison Istre (Ty), and Amber LeDoux; and his grandchildren Emma Istre, Wyatt Istre, and the expected Eloise Istre.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A memorial service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at a later date.

Ray's family and friends will forever hold him close in their hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
