Rayford Elwood Perkins

Rayford E. Perkins, 77, of Lake Charles, LA passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 4, 2016 in a local care facility.

He was born on January 21, 1938.

Rayford was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was the owner of Perks Lock and Key service.

He is survived by his children, Kenneth Perkins of Moss Bluff, LA, Kim Courville husband Derek of Lake Charles, LA, Renee Perkins, and Les Perkins ; three sisters, Mavis, Jean, and Gloria; numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Rayford is preceded in death by numerous family; nieces; and nephews.

A time of remembrance will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
