Raymond Doyle Crager

September 17, 1949 — September 28, 2017

Doyle was born September 17, 1949 in Biloxi, Mississippi and went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 28, 2017. In his younger years, he traveled the world with his parents, Raymond and Billie Crager. Upon his dad’s retirement from the Air Force, Westlake became their home. He was a machinist by trade and retired from Trunkline LNG in 2010 with 28 years of service.

Doyle was saved January 10, 1982 thanks to Brother Marvin Green who shared the plan of salvation. He lived an exemplary life. He worked hard and provided for his family.

Doyle loved his country and served in the Air Force. He was happiest when he was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with a group of retirees. He also enjoyed having lunch with his friends where they would attempt to solve the world’s problems. He had a great sense of humor and was quick witted.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alvinette Benoit Crager. Daughters, Angie Corkran and husband Shawn of Mandeville, LA and Becky Blalock and husband Ray of Tyler, TX. Grandchildren Maddie, Christian and Evan Corkran of Mandeville, LA. Stepmother LaWanda Crager of Leesville, LA. Uncle LeRoy Crager of Garden City, GA.
