Raymond Murphy

Raymond Murphy, 56, passed away in Lake Charles. Raymond was born February 2, 1957 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Howard and Lorena Murphy. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and loved fishing and camping. Raymond was a very kind hearted gentleman with a spirit that was always willing to help. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Howard and Leary Murphy; three children, one son, Nicholas Murphy of Pasadena, Texas; two daughters, Mary Beth Rex of Pasadena and Nichole Murphy of Pasadena, Texas; siblings, Darrell Murphy of Longview, Texas, Christal Janis of Spring, Texas, Pamela Spears of Bossier City , Louisiana and Randal Murphy of Lake Charles; three grand children Unity Rex, Cameron Rex and Jayden Leist all of Pasadena, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother Lorena Smith Murphy. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service at Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon George Carr will officiate services.
