Raymond Paul Felio, 50, of Lake Charles died at 12:01 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in a local hospital. Mr. Felio was born on December 23, 1963 in Lake Charles. He was raised in Grand Chenier and moved to Lake Charles over 30 years ago. Mr. Felio was an honor graduate of South Cameron High School where he played football and ran track. He attended McNeese State University before working in the oilfield for Crain Brothers and then for Oscar. Mr. Felio began his career as a plumber with Lake Area Plumbing and then was employed with Wright's Plumbing Services before returning to Lake Area Plumbing, where he was currently working. He was an extremely dedicated and motivated worker. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball. In his younger years he liked to hunt and fish. Mr. Felio was very involved in his children's lives coaching softball, soccer, and baseball. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Rebecca "Becky" Felio; a daughter, Kirsten Felio; twin sons, Brett and Cody Felio all of Lake Charles; parents, Gerald and Barbara Bonsall of Grand Chenier; three brothers, Archie Felio of Houston, TX, Warren Felio and wife Missi of Vinton, LA, and James Bonsall and wife Torrey of Holmwood, LA; his father-in-law, Clifford Myers of Lake Charles; two sisters-in-law, Cathy and Pat Myers both of Lake Charles; his Godmother, Mae Ann Hebert of Lake Charles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Joseph Felio and his mother-in-law, Nedia Myers. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. The Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Friday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 1:00 PM.
