Reba Fruge Darce

Reba Fruge Darce, 78, of Lake Charles died 11:45 PM Friday, December 21, 2012 in a local care facility surrounded by her family.

Reba was a native of Basile and graduated from Basile High School and Vincent Business School. For 40 years she worked for Bowlarena Lanes/Sports Center USA. She was a member of American Business Women's Association (ABWA) and St. Margaret Catholic Church. Some of Reba's happiest times were spent with her family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who, just in thought, would always put a smile on her face. She was proud of each and every one of them.

Preceding Reba in death were her parents, Hubert and Sybil Fontenot Fruge and her beloved husband, Harold A. Darce. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are four daughters, Donna Burke and husband Neal, Lafayette; Rona Tallman and husband Johnny, Lake Charles; Kim Moseley and husband Jeff and Linda Scallan and husband Guy, both of Moss Bluff; one son, Mark Darce and wife Laura, Plano, Texas; four siblings, Farrell Fruge, Patricia Ortego, Gerald Fruge and Edwin Fruge; grandchildren, Darci Meyerhofer, Hunter Burke, Lance Tallman, Gene, Shane, and Jennifer Moseley, Matthew Scallan, Meagan Smith and Corey Darce; six great-grandchildren, Karston Meyerhofer, Carter Tallman, Tristan, Aubrey and Ayden Moseley, and Jonah Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday December 27, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home with Deacon George Carr officiating. Entombment will be at Prien Memorial Park following services.

The family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
