Rebecca B. Bell

On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, Rebecca Beatrice Bell answered the call of the Master and awoke to eternal rest.

Rebecca, affectionately known as Becky was born to the union of the late Dorothy White Bell and the late Ivory C. Bell, Sr. on December 31, 1957.

Rebecca’s relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ began at an early age at Warren United Methodist Church.

Rebecca graduated from W.O. Boston in 1975 and graduated from Clark College and McNeese State University. She was previously employed at Calcasieu Marine Bank, Player’s Casino and AT&T.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; two brothers, Anthony and Derek Bell; and nephew, Taylor J. Bell.

Rebecca is survived by two brothers, Ivory and Thomas “T.J.” (Beulah) Bell of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Cassandra Bell; sister, Lauren Kennerson; nieces, Chardae Bell, Victoria Bell, Antoinette Bell, Alicia Bell, Kirsten Bell, and Dereka Bell; nephews, Farrel Leger, Frances Leger, Cornell Johnson and Thomas Bell, Jr.; great-nieces and nephews; numerous relatives and friends; Godchildren, Traymaine Thomas, Frances Leger, and Ra’Dreka Jackson; and her loving cousin, Adel Dial.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Warren United Methodist Church. Reverend Davis Clark will officiate. Graveside will follow in Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
