Rebecca "Becky" Fruge

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Fruge, 62, of Sulphur passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Becky was a lifelong Sulphur resident and a member of Our Lady Of LaSalette Catholic Church. She worked in the Cafeteria for the Calcasieu Parish School Board, many of theses of these years at E. K. Key Elementary where she was the cafeteria Manager. Becky enjoyed being home to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Tannas Fruge; daughter, Sarah Rowe and her husband, James of Sulphur; son, Matthew Fruge of Sulphur; grandchildren,  Maddox, Kaden, Emma  and Logan; brother, Kent Vincent of Lake  Charles; and sister, Maxine Vincent of Sulphur.  Becky will also be missed by a special group of friends she fondly called, “her E. K. Key family.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Thelma Vincent.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am, Monday, November 9, 2020 in Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church.  Father Andrews Kollannoor, M. S. will officiate. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.  Visitation will be at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home 3 – 7pm, Sunday with a recitation of the Rosary at 6pm.  Words of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.robisonfuneralhome.com.
