Rebecca Lee Willett Langley, 78, of Sulphur, LA died at 1:56 AM on Sunday, February 2, 2014 in a local care facility. Mrs. Langley was born September 15, 1935 in Merryville, LA, has lived in Lake Charles since 1955, and recently moved to the Sulphur area. She was a Christian and attended Living Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed word and picture puzzles and loved the color purple. She will always be remembered for her feisty personality, beautiful dimples, and when she laughed, her eyes would dance and sparkle. She loved her family dearly and will be missed greatly. Mrs. Langley is survived by her children, Patsy Bailey and husband Tommy of DeQuincy, James Louis Langley and wife Paula of Lake Charles, Debra Poole and husband Bobby of Sulphur, LA, Walter Langley and wife Raona of Dallas, TX, and Linda Simmons and husband Lloyd of DeQuincy, LA; sisters, Lucille Smith of Nederland, TX and Maxie Seamon of Mittie, LA; eight grandchildren, James "Peanut", Troy, Brandi, Loletta "Toots", Tabby, Amber, Lloyd, Jr. "Scooter", and Will; twenty-four grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Langley; parents, James and Bertie Lanier Willett; brothers, Kenneth Willett, O. A. Willett, and Fouch Willett; and sister, Marie Willett Miller. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Lilly will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
