Reece Anthony Borel

Reece Anthony Borel, 20, of Sulphur, LA passed away on December 14, 2023.
Reece was born on May 12, 2003, in Lake Charles, LA to Penny Borel and Arthur Phillips Sr. Reece was surely loved by all and had a big heart and spirit that was genuine and very welcoming. He sure could make any and everyone feel included as he did when he had the great idea to bring people together when he started and lead the car club LA STEPPAS. Reece was a jack of all trades and worked at SPAR and just recently started a career path in the Petrochemical Industry. He loved his dogs Zeus and Ruby above all. He was a proud 2022 Sulphur High School Graduate.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Penny Borel; father, Arthur Phillips Sr.; siblings, Roman Borel, Hailey Freeman, Heidi Borel, Hannah Borel (Twin), Courtney Griffin, Ashle Berry, Anthony Smith, Tiffany Morrow, Arthur Phillips Jr., Jordan Cherry, and Iesha Phillips; grandparents, Gwen Klein, Bill and Tena Walker, Loretta Young, Lena (Earlee) and Jerry Phillips, Jr; great grandmother, Lois Landry; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Roman Borel Jr., Maddilynn Borel, Gauge Borel, Ella Borel, and Harmony Johnson; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving unborn child, Bianca Faye Borel.
He is preceded in death by cousin, Gavin Benoit; grandfather, Kenneth Vincent; and two uncles, Earl Ray Phillips and Lee Roy Phillips Sr.; and brother, Hunter Vincent.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA. Visitation of friends will be from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM on Thursday until leaving for the church at 10:30 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral. Burial will be at Lee Cemetery in Vinton under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Fr. Tim Goodly will officiate services.
