Rella Hyatt

Rella Hyatt, 80, passed away on January 21, 2014 in a local hospital. Rella was very devoted to her religion, always witnessing, praying and praising God. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Rella is survived by her children, Marvol Vice and husband, Gerald, Sue Hyatt, James Hyatt and wife, Cathy, Keith Hyatt and wife, Kathy all of Starks, Cathy Bryant and husband, Harley of Vinton, Carolyn Hyatt of Sulphur and Lela Whatley and husband, Jessie of Silsbee, TX; 22 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Horace Hyatt; and her parents, Bercier and Blanche Olivier. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Starks with Rev. Alton Harwell officiating. Burial will be in Miller Annex Cemetery in Starks under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Starks and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of the service. Pallbearers will be Darrell Doucet, Jody Hyatt, Wendell Hyatt, Keith Hyatt, Jr., Vernon Hyatt Jr., Joey Hyatt and honorary, Rick Bingham and Kenny Simms.
