Rena Marie Levoy

Rena Marie Levoy, 77 of Lake Charles was called home on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Rena was one of twelve children born to Jake and Mimmie Bertrand. She was born in Elton, LA on December 29, 1943.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting with her friends, bingo, puzzles, crafts, watching the Lifetime Network and Hallmark Channel. She always looked forward to the holidays where her family would gather, Christmas and New Years being her favorite. She was a member of Waters Edge Church.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Melisa Ann Squibb, Mitchell Meaux Sr., Todd Levoy, Tim Levoy; her grandchildren; Kenny Squibb, Christopher Squibb, Mitchell Meaux Jr., Jacilyn Levoy, Rayni Levoy and Kelee Levoy; her great grandchildren, Layton, Hayden, Madison, and Brielle Grace; and one sister Veronica Miller.

The family will welcome friends on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Lake City Baptist Church located at 3940 Holly Hill Rd. Lake Charles, LA beginning at 10am to time of service. A funeral service led by Pastor Mel Yorks will begin at 1pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home following the funeral services.
