Rene Trent Hebert, 65, of Moss Bluff, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday July 22, 2024 at his residence.
Rene was a native of Jennings and a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. He was a retired truck driver for the Coca-Cola bottling company, delivering products locally throughout the Lake Area.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife, Sylvia Cordova Hebert of Moss Bluff; son, Cody Jean Hebert (Shannon) of Dallas, TX; father, Jimmy Mervin Hebert of Lake Charles; sister, Jackie Hebert Tout (Robert) of Lake Charles; niece, Summer Nacole Brane (Doug) of Lake Charles; nephews, Dustin Cale Platt and Casey Howard Tout (Mariah) of Lake Charles and numerous cousins. He also leaves three stepchildren, Steven Salinas of Atascosa, TX, Catherine Cervantes and David Cervantes, both of San Antonio, TX; eight step grandchildren; one step grandchild of heart; five step great-grandchildren as well as extended family of the heart.
Rene was preceded in death by a son, Desmond Trent Hebert, stepson, Lupe Salinas; mother, Della Mae Hunt; grandparents, Curly and Alverta Hunt and grandmother, Josephine Courville Langley.
A Memorial Talk at Kingdom Hall, 2551 Alma Drive, Lake Charles, LA 70607, Prien Lake Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness will be Saturday August 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM. The speaker will be Aaron Guillory.
As to Rene’s wishes, no formal public services will be observed, with cremation having been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
