Renee Roche Baxley

Renee Roche Baxley, 49, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Baytown, TX. "They were Angels on Earth long before they arrived in Heaven, and once at the pearly gates, they received their wings." Renee was born and raised in Lake Charles and was a graduate of LaGrange High School and McNeese State University where she attained a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She served the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman having lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, Boston, MA, Colorado Springs, CO and Nashville, TN. She worked in the Healthcare Industry for many years and recently began working for a Contractor in the Security Department of Sasol. Renee enjoyed reading, loved people and will be remembered for her spirit, her boisterous personality and her love of family. She attended Waters Edge. She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Jacoby Canyon Baxley of Selma, NC; daughter, Skylar Marie Baxley of Lake Charles; sister, Laurie Roche O'Quinn and husband Bryan of Lake Charles; brother, Randall Joseph Roche and wife Kim of Norfolk, England; half brother, Scott Loftin and wife Kathy of Dry Creek; half sister, Donna Matte and husband Rex of Lake Charles and two nephews, Landen O'Quinn of Lake Charles and Daniel Lee Roche of Norfolk, England and two nieces, Peyton O'Quinn of Lake Charles and Alicia Marie Roche of Norfolk, England. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church. Reverend Steve James will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service at Trinity Baptist Church.
