Reva Marie Chesson

Reva Jones Chesson, age 93, died January 9^th at home, surrounded by loved ones. Her death was the result of complications from a fall. 

Reva was a longtime resident of Lake Charles.  She spent her entire working career in various libraries in the Lake Charles area.  In later years she enjoyed cruising with her dear friend Dot Akins and lunching on Sundays with her Social Lights friends.  She was a member of The Review Club and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Reva was preceded in death by her husband JB Chesson. She is survived by her son, Brent; daughter, Aline (Trevor Baldwin); granddaughters Katy (Kyle Onda) and Frances (Fede Novak); and her great grandson Nico Novak.  Aunt Reva is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from the Jones and Chesson families.  She will be missed by all.

Graveside services for the family will be held on Friday, January 15^th. We hope to have a Celebration of Life later this year after the Covid crisis has passed. In lieu of flowers Reva asked me to encourage everyone to make a contribution to Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
