Rhonda Louise Hood

Rhonda Louise Hood, 66, of Sulphur, LA passed away on June 18, 2023, in a local hospital. 
Rhonda was born on January 19, 1957, in Lafayette, LA to Melvin and Clara Barrilleaux. Rhonda enjoyed being with family and spending time outside. She enjoyed coloring, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren the most. 
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Brandi Harper and husband Joe; 4 grandchildren, Abigail Hood (Hunter Comeaux), Kyler Langley, Dax Harper, and JC Harper; brother, David Barrilleaux (Julie Oliver); Godchildren, Seth Barrilleaux and Jacob Barrilleaux; sister-in-law, Lynn Barrilleaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Clara Barrilleaux and siblings, Chester Barrilleaux, Jerry Barrilleaux, and Randall Barrilleaux.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home, Pastor Jody Lafleur will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at the funeral home from 8:00 AM until the time of services. The burial will be at Consolata Cemetery.
