Richard Dale Bellard

Richard Dale Bellard, 64, of Lake Charles died at 7:00 AM, Monday, January 23, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Bellard was a born in Church Point, Louisiana on September, 9, 1947 to the parents of Mary and Joseph Bellard. He has lived most of his life living in the Lake Chares area. Richard was a 1966 graduate of Marion High School. He also attended McNeese State University. Mr. Bellard served in the United States Army. Richard worked for DM Petrochemical Operations Company as a Cost Analyst for 25 years. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. Mr. Bellard was also member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his loving family, fishing, photoshop, reading and playing cards.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lynn Bellard of Lake Charles, LA, two sons David Bellard and his wife Ruthie of Branch, LA, and Billy Bellard and his wife Mona of Lafayette, LA, four grandchildren; Craig Bellard and his wife Fallon, Corey Bellard and wife Roxanne, Eric Bellard and his wife Krystal, and mother- in- law Irene Courville, four great grandchildren; Cael, Draken, Carter, and Noah Bellard, two sisters Linda Bellard of Pensacola, FL, and Marie Brown of Lake Charles, LA.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a cursillo rosary to be held at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Friday at 8:00 AM until 9:30 in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Blaine Bellard, Corey Bellard, John Morrissey, Benjamin Vining, Keith Bellard, and Hunter Vining, honorary pallbearers will be Craig Bellard, Eric Bellard, Dillon Bellard, and Bob Lyles.
