Richard J. Daley, Jr.

   Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother died at the age of 77 on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 after a brief illness.

     A native of Lake Charles, LA, he was a resident of Port Arthur, TX.  In his early years, he was an ironworker with Local 678. Later in life, he became an entrepreneur and spent most of his life in sales. 

     Survived by the love of his life Jeanette Derouen Daley, sons Kevin and Steve Daley, grandchildren Kyle Daley (Paige), Kendall Daley (Morgan), Keith Daley (Megan),  Chelsey Fruge', Cheyenne and Destiny Daley, and Sebastian and Samanatha Colwell and 12 great granddchildren. Brother Philip Daley (Darla), sisters Mary Guerin (Ronnie), Patricia Perry (Johnny), Barbara Thibodeaux (Houston) and Judy Savoy (Donald). 

     He was preceded in death by his parents Irene and Richard Daley, Sr. 

     A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Richard loved children, so in lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to your favorite children's charity.
