Richard Joseph Gibson

Richard Joseph Gibson, 52, passed away on May 2, 2015 in Lake Charles. He was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and graduated from Sulphur High School in 1981.He worked in service at Pumpelly's in Sulphur. Richard was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. He loved working on cars. Richard is survived by his mother Gloria Mae Brignac Gibson of Sulphur; a sister Julie Ann (Timothy) Cormie of Longville; four brothers Malcolm Lee (Darla) Gibson Jr. of Carlyss; Kevin Wayne (Deborah) Gibson and Wade Anthony (Phyllis) Gibson all of Sulphur; and William Raymond Gibson of Burbank, California. He was preceded in death by his father Malcolm Lee Gibson Sr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Patrick LaPointe officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 10A.M.-3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home until time of the service.
