Richard "Rick" Benton Nogle

Richard Rick Benton Nogle, 67, of Newton, TX, passed away on December 14, 2012 in Sulphur, LA. He was born on February 18, 1945 in Port Arthur, TX. Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine Crouch Nogle of Newton, TX; son, Jacob Guillory and wife Aryn of Houston, TX; brother, Harold Bailey Nogle , Jr. and wife Gail from Dallas, TX; niece, Lauren Nogle Moench and husband, Ryan of Houston, TX; nephew, Harold Bailey Nogle III and wife Heather of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Bailey Nogle and Susie Richardson Nogle. Rick served our country in the U.S. Army , and received both a Bronze and Silver Star as well as a Purple Heart during the Vietnam Era. He retired after 26 years from the U. S. Customs Agency as a Supervisory Special Agent. He had an adventurous spirit , and enjoyed piloting his plane, storytelling and being outdoors. A gathering will be held at Robison Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 4:00 pm " 7:00 pm.
