Richard "Ricky" Johnson

Richard “Ricky” Willis Johnson, 49, of Sulphur passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in a Lake Charles hospital surrounded by his family.  Ricky was a lifelong resident of Sulphur.  He was a loving husband, father and Paw Paw.  Ricky was also a loving uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.  Ricky adored being around family and friends.  His biggest hobby was fishing. 

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 17 years, Sandie, who he met when he was 14; his 3 children, Joshwa Paul Robinson, Randall Lee Clostio and Kara Lynn Robinson; 1 grandchild, Bayli Rayne English; his siblings, Bridgett Chapman and Bruce, Beth Lafauci and Keith, Delana Odom and Mike Lofton, Carolyn Benoit and Dana; Donald Johnson and Sue and Barbara Truxillo and Ronald; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Larry and one sister, Debbie.

Services for Ricky will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.  Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 4-9 PM and again on Friday from 8 AM until the time of service.
