Richard Stuart Hebert, 49, of Sulphur, LA died at 1:24 PM on Monday, February 24, 2014. Mr. Hebert was born June 1, 1964 in Lake Charles, LA and was a 1982 graduate of Sam Houston High School. He worked most of his life in Industrial Sales and was self-employed for over ten years. He was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Sulphur. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing golf, but his passion in life was for his family. Mr. Hebert is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Julie Wright Hebert; mother, Barbara Hebert; children, Kade Hebert, Destin Hebert, Krisstarah Lyles and husband Jessie, Lacey Hebert, Autumn Hebert, and Eden Hebert; brothers, Jeff Hebert and wife Carrie, James Hebert and wife Christie and Matt Hebert and wife Michelle; sisters, Koni Champagne and Kristi Mullican and husband George; and two grandchildren, Reece and Adelynn Hebert. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Joseph Hebert. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Sulphur, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverends Allan Upton and Randy Stanton will officiate. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to assist with expenses.
